The following terms and conditions apply to Vodafone Giga5G Mobile Data Plans:

  • Usability:  Prepaid Vodafone Mobile Internet Users can access 5G services using the following 5G devices provided that their software updates are up-to-date. This list of devices will be updated as soon as device manufacturers release new 5G-ready software updates.

  • Auto-renewal: Vodafone Giga5G Mobile Data plans subscribed from *555# and *181# are set to auto-renew after their expiry period. To un-subscribe from the 5G data plans, dial *555# or *181#, select the plan you are subscribed to and select Option 2 to "Un-subscribe".
  • Data rollover: Remaining data will rollover upon auto-renewal or re-subscription of any rollover Data Plan before expiry. The remaining data will roll over to the furthest data plan expiry.
  • Exclusions: Rollover and Auto-renewal do not apply to Vodafone Mobile Data Gift Plans.
  • 5G requirements: To use Vodafone Prepaid 5G Mobile Internet Services, you must have a 5G-capable smartphone updated with a special 5G software update, be in a 5G coverage area, have a 5G-enabled data plan, and ensure that the network mode on your device is set to 5G. Note: Power Saving features may restrict your phone from accessing 5G in order to conserve battery power. Disable Power Saver Mode to access 5G. Customers using a 4G smartphone or a 5G smartphone that has not received a special 5G software update from their device manufacturer, or live outside a 5G coverage area can purchase and use Giga5G data plans at 3G/4G speeds.
    • Special 5G software update: Some 5G smartphones are not 5G-Ready yet as they need a special software update to connect to 5G. These updates are released by smartphone manufacturers. Manufacturers are working to release these updates as quickly as possible. After manufacturers have released a special 5G software update patch, customers will be notified by SMS to update their software.
    • Validity: Promotion is valid until further notice.


    Do I have to sign a contract to subscribe to Business Talk and is there a minimum term?

    No, you don't need to sign a contract and there is no minimum term. All you need to do is sign an agreement so this feature can be activated.       
    You are at liberty to unsubscribe at any time without any penalty.

    How long does it take to configure Business Talk in the System?

    Turnaround time for configuration is 24 hours, but in most cases it is done on the same day.

    If a customer connects midway in the month, per number, are there any additional fees or charges?

    No.

    Apart from the $10 per month, per number, are there any additional fees or charges to subscribe to Business Talk?

    No.

    What happens if Business Talk is configured and Voice connections drop below 5?

    Business Talk will be de-provisioned, as the minimum requirement is 5 Post pay voice connections under the same billing account.

    Can any customer with 5 Voice Post pay connections subscribe to Business Talk?

    Yes, as long as the 5 numbers are registered under the same billing account.

    If a customer has 20 numbers in Vodagroup, can he/she put 5 numbers on Business Talk and the rest on Vodagroup?

    No, the customer can either have numbers on Vodagroup or Business Talk.

    Can existing Vodagroup customers subscribe to Business Talk?

    Yes they can, but all connections within the group have to subscribe to Business Talk.
    The system does not allow some numbers to be on Vodagroup and some numbers to be on Business Talk,
    Customers have to make a choice between Business Talk and Vodagroup.

    Are International and Roaming calls free for a subscriber with a Business Talk group?

    No, unlimited calls within the group is only for Vodafone on-net calls. This does not include International and Roaming calls.

    If a subscriber is on a credit limit, will calls within the group still go through upon reaching the credit limit?

    No, if the number is barred for outgoing calls (upon reaching the credit limit), all outgoing activity, including calls within the group will be barred.

    How is Business Talk different to Vodagroup?

    On Vodagroup, subscribers pay 5.75 cents VIP per unit for calls made within the group.
    On Business Talk, subscribers get unlimited calls within the group for just $10 VIP per month per number.

    What is the minimum number of connections required?

    A minimum of 5 Postpay voice connections are required to be registered under the same billing account.

    Is it available to both PrePay and Postpay customers?

    Business Talk is only available to Postpay customers.

    Does this include unlimited SMS within the group as well?

    No, normal charges apply for SMS sent within the group.

    What is Business Talk?

    Business Talk enables you to have unlimited calls within a group for just $10 per month per number.

    1. What is Mobile Internet?

    a. It is Internet access that you can enjoy on the go with your mobile phone.

    2. How can I access Internet on my phone?

    a. Ensure that you have a mobile internet-enabled handset and that it has been setup with our mobile internet configurations.

    b. Dial *555# or use the MyVodafone App and Subscribe to any of our great mobile data plans using your real credit.

    c. After subscrbing to a mobile data plan, dial *131# or use the MyVodafone App and check your data balance. If data has been successfully loaded, Go to device Settings and turn on your "Mobile Data" connection.

    d. That's it! You're now ready to surf the internet, send emails, post/share on social media, play games, and stream music and videos on your Mobile Phone!

    3. What kind of phone do I need to get this service?

    a. Any phone that supports internet connectivity and Web browsing will allow you to browse the Internet.

    4. Can I go to any site or service on the Internet?

    a. The Internet service will not be restricted, however there will be some defined sites that will have free or discounted rates.

    b. If your phone is capable of downloading and installing software/apps which are used to access Internet based services, it can also be used.

    5. What services do I need on my phone to start using Mobile Internet?

    a. A data plan with Sufficient Data Balance or Real Money Credit, and a Web browser on your phone.
