  • Usability:  Prepaid Vodafone Mobile Internet Users can access 5G services using the following 5G devices provided that their software updates are up-to-date. This list of devices will be updated as soon as device manufacturers release new 5G-ready software updates.

  • Auto-renewal: Vodafone Giga5G Mobile Data plans subscribed from *555# and *181# are set to auto-renew after their expiry period. To un-subscribe from the 5G data plans, dial *555# or *181#, select the plan you are subscribed to and select Option 2 to "Un-subscribe".
  • Data rollover: Remaining data will rollover upon auto-renewal or re-subscription of any rollover Data Plan before expiry. The remaining data will roll over to the furthest data plan expiry.
  • Exclusions: Rollover and Auto-renewal do not apply to Vodafone Mobile Data Gift Plans.
  • 5G requirements: To use Vodafone Prepaid 5G Mobile Internet Services, you must have a 5G-capable smartphone updated with a special 5G software update, be in a 5G coverage area, have a 5G-enabled data plan, and ensure that the network mode on your device is set to 5G. Note: Power Saving features may restrict your phone from accessing 5G in order to conserve battery power. Disable Power Saver Mode to access 5G. Customers using a 4G smartphone or a 5G smartphone that has not received a special 5G software update from their device manufacturer, or live outside a 5G coverage area can purchase and use Giga5G data plans at 3G/4G speeds.
    • Special 5G software update: Some 5G smartphones are not 5G-Ready yet as they need a special software update to connect to 5G. These updates are released by smartphone manufacturers. Manufacturers are working to release these updates as quickly as possible. After manufacturers have released a special 5G software update patch, customers will be notified by SMS to update their software.
    • Validity: Promotion is valid until further notice.


    10. How can I end a conversation with “Joe”?

    You can either select on “Exit Bot” or type “Moce” to end the conversation.

    9. How do I start a conversation with “Joe”?

    You can type “Hi or Bula” to start a conversation with “Joe”.

    8. Is “Joe” able to understand and answer all my queries?

    No. For starters, “Joe” is being trained to take care of simpler or frequent questions that does not necessarily require a human to respond. More content will be added later. Please contact Customer Care to get assistance with any complex requests.

    7. How long would it take for “Joe” to respond?

     “Joe” responds almost instantly. 

    How do I get my new eTransport Card?

    If you are a regular traveler, you should register for a permanent eTransport Card at any authorized Vodafone retail outlet. Mr. Mobile outlet, Valufone outlet and eTransport roadshow location. To obtain a permanent eTransport Card,  you must provide a valid form of identification (i.e. drivers license,  passport, FNPF/FRCS  Joint Card, Voter Registration Card or birth certificate).  

    6. What can I do when “Joe” is unable to answer or understand some of my questions?

    You can either:

    5. Would it require data to chat with “Joe”?

    No, you do not require data to chat with “Joe”, however mobile data needs to be switched on. All conversations with ‘Joe” is zero rated.

    4. How can “Joe” assist you?

    “Joe” is skilled to improve customer experience, allowing a seamless conversation for several queries such as; Balance Check -> SIM Status -> Phone Prices -> APN Settings -> Roaming Guide -> How to Access Internet -> Options to Recharge -> Information on M-PAiSA Services, etc.

    3. Who is “Joe”?

     “Joe” is Vodafone Fiji’s chatbot, designed to provide responses to simple inquires such as balance check, phone prices, APN settings, etc. “Joe” is available as an icon on the My Vodafone App and customers can click on this to start conversations. “Joe” is available 24/7 to respond to several inquiries.  

    2. What does a Chatbot do?

    A chatbot uses AI and built-in machine learning algorithms to learn from each interaction and hold conversations with users without the need for human intervention. Over a period of time, the chatbot learns from various conversations with customers and will improve its response in terms of relevance.

    With this free new app, you could

    What are the terms and conditions for Business Talk?

    - Business Talk requires a minimum of 5 Post pay Voice connections to be registered under the same billing account.
    - Business Talk is available to all connections within the same account and is not available to certain numbers only or partial accounts.
    - Business Talk costs $10 VIP per month per connection for unlimited calls within the group. It does not include SMS
    - If the numbers barred for outgoing calls (upon reaching the credit limit), all outgoing activity, including calls within the group will be barred.
     - Business Talk does not include International or Roaming calls.
