  • Available to Prepaid Vodafone customers only.
  • Purchased credit can only be used to purchase or gift a mobile data plan.
  • Selected mobile data plans have a subscription service with recurring charges and are set to auto-renew after a period of time from the time of subscription.
  • Auto-renewal is valid for the following plans: Giga 3, Giga 4, Giga 8, Giga 9, Giga 11, Giga 12, Giga 15, Giga 16, Giga 25, Giga 35 and Giga 50.
  • Data Rollover is valid for the following plans: Giga 4, Giga 9, Giga 12, Giga 16, Giga 35 and Giga 50.
  • Auto-renewal and Data Rollover do not apply to Data Gifting and M-PAiSA Data Plans.
  • $8 Unlimited Night Plan is a promotional offer. End Date for $8 Unlimited Night Plan will be communicated via SMS broadcast.
  • $3 Night Plan and $8 Night Plan are only usable from 12am to 5am. Both plans expire at 5am.

  • As a Vodafone subscriber, you are allowed to gift another user on the Vodafone network a number of services from your recharge balance.  These include the gifting of:
  • Recharge or air time
  • Data; and
  • Credit transfers
  • It is extremely important for you to input the correct mobile number to which you are gifting any of the above service. As part of the gifting process, you are allowed to view the details of the mobile number and the amount of gifting you may wish to do.  
  • You must therefore check and confirm that the beneficiary number and amount of transaction is correct before you commit the transaction.
  • Auto-renewal and Data Rollover does not apply to Data Gifting Plans. Unlimited Free Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Wikipedia, Snapchat and Instagram also does not apply to Data Gifting Plans.

Inter-Network Data Gifting

  • Vodafone customers can gift INKK Data plans to any Active INKK Voice sim customer.
  • INKK number or the receiving party’s sim status needs to be Active to be able to receive the Data Gift benefit.
  • Vodafone number or the gifting party needs to have sufficient Purchased Credit or IOU credit to be able to do Gift Data.
  • Input the correct mobile number to which you are gifting data to. As part of the gifting process, you will be able to view the details of the mobile number and the data gift plan.
  • Dial *555#, select option 4 and enter the receiving party’s number. Choose the plan to gift and follow the instructions to gift the data plan. A confirmation text message will be sent to both parties confirming that the plan has been successfully gifted.
