The following terms and conditions apply to Vodafone Giga5G Mobile Data Plans:

  • Usability:  Prepaid Vodafone Mobile Internet Users can access 5G services using the following 5G devices provided that their software updates are up-to-date. This list of devices will be updated as soon as device manufacturers release new 5G-ready software updates.

  • Auto-renewal: Vodafone Giga5G Mobile Data plans subscribed from *555# and *181# are set to auto-renew after their expiry period. To un-subscribe from the 5G data plans, dial *555# or *181#, select the plan you are subscribed to and select Option 2 to "Un-subscribe".
  • Data rollover: Remaining data will rollover upon auto-renewal or re-subscription of any rollover Data Plan before expiry. The remaining data will roll over to the furthest data plan expiry.
  • Exclusions: Rollover and Auto-renewal do not apply to Vodafone Mobile Data Gift Plans.
  • 5G requirements: To use Vodafone Prepaid 5G Mobile Internet Services, you must have a 5G-capable smartphone updated with a special 5G software update, be in a 5G coverage area, have a 5G-enabled data plan, and ensure that the network mode on your device is set to 5G. Note: Power Saving features may restrict your phone from accessing 5G in order to conserve battery power. Disable Power Saver Mode to access 5G. Customers using a 4G smartphone or a 5G smartphone that has not received a special 5G software update from their device manufacturer, or live outside a 5G coverage area can purchase and use Giga5G data plans at 3G/4G speeds.
    • Special 5G software update: Some 5G smartphones are not 5G-Ready yet as they need a special software update to connect to 5G. These updates are released by smartphone manufacturers. Manufacturers are working to release these updates as quickly as possible. After manufacturers have released a special 5G software update patch, customers will be notified by SMS to update their software.
    • Validity: Promotion is valid until further notice.


    21. Can the App be used offline anytime?

    If user is offline, real time data will not be available. However the NaDraki App will load previous online data.

    22. Error possibilities customers can get while downloading or using the app?

    If user is facing issues with app (data loading), (s)he will have to close the app completely then re-open the app again. Also check that you have stable internet access.

    How do I pay my fare using my permanent eTransport Card?

    To pay for your bus fare, you first need to tell the bus driver your destination. Once the driver enters the number of stage(s) you are travelling, you will be asked to tap your eTransport Card against the Point-Of-Sale(POS) machine in the bus. Once the fare is paid, the POS machine will print a ticket which will state the number of stage(s) you are travelling and the amount of the fare, along with your remaining balance.

    23. What notifications will I receive?

    The app will only notify you of the latest Warnings from our NaDraki team.

    How do I top up my permanent card?

     

    To top  up your  card, you will need to visit an authorized Vodafone Top Up agent. You can pay cash over the counter to top  up your Transport Card and you will then receive a receipt that confirms the amount you've paid and the new  balance of your  card. 

    I registered for an eTransport Card prior to 29 July 2017. Do I need to get a new card?

    Yes, you need to register for a new card. As of 1st October, buses only accept the new permanent eTransport Cards. 

    What if the balance on my card is too low to get to my destination?

    Yes. Your eTransport Card will be valid on any public bus in Fiji, provided it is topped up with the proper balance for your trip. 

    Roaming Rates - Conditions

    • In order to use the Prepay Roaming service customers need to have sufficient real money balance in their mobile account. Online top-up option is available from anywhere in the world.
    • Roaming bundle plans are available in New Zealand, Australia, Hong Kong, Singapore, USA, Canada, India, UK, Sri Lanka, Vanuatu and Samoa
    • To opt-in to the roaming bundles, dial *100# and select the daily, weekly or monthly plan of your choice. Roaming plan will be activated once you receive a confirmation text message.
    • Roaming bundle minutes can be used to make calls back to Fiji, calls within the roaming country and for receiving calls from anywhere. Minutes will be deducted on per minute basis e.g. If customer make a 45 seconds call, customers bundle minutes will decrease by 1 minute
    • Calls from roaming country to other International destinations will incur standard charges and is not part of prepay roaming bundle plan.
    • SMS can be used to send SMS anywhere.
    • Receiving SMS will be free.
    • Data can be used in the country of roaming.
    • Daily roaming plans will auto-renew every day at 12.00am Fiji time and to opt-out from auto-renew, dial *100# and unsubscribe.
    • Auto renewal does not apply on Weekly and Monthly plans.
    • Standard roaming charges will apply outside of the roaming bundle plan i.e. when the plan benefits are fully used, plan is not active or when the user travels from one country to another where the roaming bundle plans are not applicable.
    • Plan Benefits remain active if user travels from 1 country to another country listed in the bundle plan.
    • Offer valid until further notice and promotion end date will be communicated to customers via SMS broadcast.
    • Vodafone number range are as follows: 22, 23, 27, 28, 29, 80, 83, 86, 89, 90, 91, 92, 93, 94, 97 and 99.

    Can my eTransport card be used in other buses apart from the bus which services our area?

    Yes. Your eTransport Card will be valid on any public bus in Fiji, provided it is topped up with the proper balance for your trip. 

    Note for Postpaid customers:

    **If customers subscribe to a Value Plan, they will need Rythm Data in their account to stream the App. If the data is exhausted, customers can renew their plan or access the App via Wifi.

    After Trial, you need to select a Plan:

    • This App is supported by Vodafone Postpay, Prepay and Inkk Connections only, customers will not be able to access through other connections
    • Service is not open to other network customers. 
    • By default the service is set to auto renew, to stop auto renew services, go to Profile and disable auto renewal.
    • If you choose a basic pass you will be charged from your normal data.
    • If you choose Value pass you be charged from the data allocated and thereafter charged from your normal data for prepaid customers. For Postpay users, if the Rythm data is exhausted, customers will need to renew their Value plan or excess the App via Wifi connection. (more details in the attached Term & Conditions and FAQs)

    Standard Prepay Tariffs - Terms & Conditions

     

    • All the rates outlined in the table above are VAT inclusive
    • One unit of call equates to 30 seconds or part thereof.
    • The maximum number of characters for an SMS is 160
    • For Calls to Customer Care 123 line, Peak hours are from 7am to 5pm between Monday to Friday and Off-Peak hours are from 5pm to 7am between Mondays to Friday and also includes the Weekends.
    • Prices are subject to change without notice during promotions at Vodafone's discretion.

    I am assisted with travel by the Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation. Do I need to get an eTransport Card too?

    Yes. The Ministry of Women, Children and Poverty Alleviation has stopped issuing  travel  vouchers. 

    You will need  an eTransport Card  to travel  on the  bus if you wish to enjoy the concession fare. You will need to check with the Ministry of Social Welfare on where and how to get your eTransport Card.  All persons receiving social welfare travel concessions. Including persons living with disabilities, the elderly and senior citizens should visit the nearest Ministry of Social Welfare office to obtain a concession eTransport  Card.

    l am a student assisted with travel by the Ministry of Education. Do I also require an eTransport Card?

    Yes, The Ministry of  Education is only issuing travel vouchers for  certain areas of  Fiji that are serviced by mini-buses  and carriers  to travel  students to major fairways. 

    All students who are travelling on public buses will receive eTransport Cards that they must use to enjoy concession fares. Bus operators will allow all students to travel with or without their cards until the eTransport Card distribution process is completed.

    What happens if lose my eTransport Card?

    You  can  report a lost or stolen card to Vodafone to protect your unused balance. You can then obtain a replacement card at any authorized Vodafone outlet. Any unused balance on the missing card will be transferred to your new card. 

    Can I block my eTransport Card so that no one uses it?

    You  can  request   a block   for  your   card  for  any  reason. To  block  a card,  you can  visit any  authorized Vodafone  outlet or call toll-free number 151(for any network users). Agents will be able to block the card following a verification process. 

    What happens If I was charged an incorrect fare? What do I need to do?

    When boarding the bus, check the fare when the driver enters the stage to see  that  it is correct. Also,  be  sure  to  only  tap  your  card  at  the POS once; multiple attempts of tapping your card may incur extra fares being deducted.

    If you think that you have been overcharged, please keep your receipt and advise the driver. You can sort refunds from the respective Bus Company with  the copy of your receipt  as evidence  of an overcharged bus fare. You will have to go through a verification  process prior  to being refunded.

    Will I be paying more in bus fares now?

    NO. The bus fares will remain the same. However, fares will be no longer  be rounded off in the eTicketing system. For example, the $1.18 stage two fare will be charged exactly rather than be rounded up to $1.20.

    How much do I need to pay for my permanent card?

    Your first card  is provided free  of charge, first replacement cards  will also be free of charge.  Thereafter, car replacements will cost $3.00.
