Vodafone Fiji has teamed up with TransferTo, a leading B2B Cross-Border Payments Network, to provide international digital money transfer services into Fiji from Australia. This will allow Vodafone M-PAiSA users in Fiji to receive money sent by family and friends living in Australia directly to their mobile phones. Thousands of former Fiji residents, migrant workers and professional athletes living in Australia, who regularly send money home to their families in Fiji, will now be able to experience this revolutionary service which will benefit thousands of families in Fiji. 

Vodafone Fiji handed over another record dividend cheque of $40M to its two major shareholders, FNPF and ATH as dividend payment for last financial year ending 31st March 2017.  This is the largest dividend payout that Vodafone Fiji has made to its shareholders to date.Since the 100% takeover of Vodafone Fiji by local shareholders three years ago, the company has paid a record $106Min dividends to FNPF and ATH and increased shareholder value from $390M to $620M. FNPF is the largest shareholder ofVodafone Fiji with a direct and indirect stake of 86% equity interest in the business.


Vodafone Fiji in partnership with Samsung will be unveiling two new sleek additions to the Samsung Galaxy flagship; Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+.  These latest Galaxies are now available in Fiji through Vodafone Fiji.

Elenoa Biukoto has been announced as the Chief Financial Officer for Vodafone Fiji.

CEO, Pradeep Lal said, “I am pleased to announce that Ms. Biukoto is taking over the helm of financial operations for Vodafone. She has been serving as the capacity of Director Finance and now has moved onto overseeing and managing the entire financial operations as CFO and Company Secretary”.


Vodafone ATH Fiji Foundation handed over mEducation package to Taveuni South Primary School. This is part of Internet connnectivity and technology rollout that seeks to benefit students and communities at large. 

This is also part of our strategy for knowledge/information sharing and mobile connected solutions, said Foundation Executive Ms Ambalika Devi.

Vodafone Fiji and Westpac joined hands again to sponsor this year’s Fiji Institute of Accountants Congress.

This year marks the 45th year of the FIA congress and the major sponsors Westpac and Vodafone confirmed their support in facilitating another congress.
