Vodafone Fiji Launches PINKTOBER

Saturday 01 October, 2016

Vodafone Fiji launched PINKTOBER – a month long awareness, campaign on risks, early detection and prevention of Breast Cancer.

“PINKTOBER has a significant meaning that is centered on the initiative to show holistic support for those who have fallen victims to breast cancer”, said Vodafone’s CEO Pradeep Lal.
Together, we will create awareness, support those who have won over this ordeal, and encourage health checkups, said Lal.

The month long campaign will see Vodafone Staff getting involved in fundraising drives with all monies raised donated to the Fiji Cancer Society.

We will start with the awareness initiative from Damodar City Complex today and carry out various fundraisers throughout October.

“Charity in these areas are crucial to support the victims and their families. Vodafone is proud to be engaged in supporting this worthy cause”.

Our staff have pledged to raise funds and put through the Vodafone ATH Foundation – Double the Dollar initiative and donate to the Fiji Cancer Society.

With the various programmes lined up for the month we aim to maximize awareness and raise more funds.
