
FAQs for Loyalty Program
Q1. What is this Loyalty promotion?
It is Fiji first mobile loyalty program whereby our Vodafone prepay customers will get rewarded depending on how long they are with Vodafone and their average monthly recharge (over a 3 months period). The first evaluation was on 1 March 2009 and qualified participants will be notified of their Star ratings and respective rewards via txt messages.
Q2. How do I qualify to be a VodaStar?
To qualify, customers will need to be active with Vodafone for a minimum of 3 months at the time we evaluate and have an average of at least $5 recharge per month (based on a 3 months average).
Q3. How am I being rewarded for my loyalty?
There are two variables by which we categorize our loyal customers:
• Customer’s network stay(how long customer has been with Vodafone Fiji)
• Customer’s average monthly recharge
The number of stars rewarded signifies the customer’s loyalty to Vodafone Fiji. The reward is added to the account balance every month, as Free Money, until the next evaluation which will be carried out every 3 months. Star ratings may change after each evaluation.
Q4. Is the Loyalty reward Normal Money or Free Money?
The Loyalty reward is given in Free Money.
Q5. What can I use my Loyalty reward on?
Loyalty Reward can be used for Local Calls and TXT and this includes Vodafone and INKK.
Q6. How long do I have to use the reward?
You have till the expiry of your account to use the reward.
Q7. Is there a time frame on how long I can receive rewards for being a loyal customer with Vodafone Fiji?
Once you are on the program, you need to maintain your active status and average monthly recharge should be $5 or more. Your Star rating will be evaluated every three months and it may change according to your average monthly recharge (over the previous 3 months period).
If you have not registered your details with Vodafone, you will need to do so within the first 3 months of the program in order to continue enjoying the benefits of VodaSTAR. You can register at any Vodafone retail shops or by calling 200 (free line).
Q8. How much is my reward?
Based on your star rating, you will be entitled to Free Money rewards every month. For example, if you are a 3 star Customer, you will get $10 Free Money added to your Prepay account every month for next 3 months (till the next evaluation).

Q9. Can you break it down or explain to me how the stars are awarded to customers?

Q10. What if I have 3 Prepay numbers that have been on the network for the same number of period and I want my loyalty to be combined into 1 account?
This will not be possible; the loyalty reward is awarded as per mobile number.
Q11. Can I use my reward money for Credit Transfer?
No, you will not be able to transfer balance to another Vodafone Prepay mobile number.
Q12. Is it possible to put my reward on another mobile number of my choice?
This will not be possible as the reward is only given to the Prepay number that qualifies for the loyalty program.
Q13. How will I be notified if my number qualifies for the loyalty program?
A text message will be sent to your mobile number informing you of your eligibility to be part of Vodafone Fiji’s loyalty program, once you satisfy the entry criteria mentioned in A2.
Q14. Is there a way in which I can check the Star status of my number once I am part of the loyalty program?
There are 4 ways;
- At the beginning of each month a text message will be sent to inform you that your reward money has been added to your Free Money allowance.
- You will need to log into the Vodafone website (www.vodafone.com.fj) with your user name and password for Vmail. If you have not registered on our website, please click on the “Register” button and fill in the registration form.
- You can type Star and sms to 400 and get your star category, tenure as of last evaluated date and average monthly recharge (over last 3 months) as of last evaluated date.
- You can call Vodafone Call centre and get your star category, tenure as of last evaluated date and average monthly recharge (over last 3 months) as of last evaluated date.
Q15. Will my expiry date be extended when loyalty money is added to my account balance?
The expiry date for your Free money is you account expiry date.
Q16. How do I maintain or increase my Star rating?
You have to maintain or increase your average monthly recharge according to Table 2 above.
