Vodafone Rental
Vodafone Rental is a separate entity that offers digital mobile phones and SIM cards for hire to corporate, tourist groups, and individuals.
We offer two rental ranges, Group A and Group S. The rental and insurance rates differ according to these groups. The rates are set out in the table below:
The above prices exclude VAT and are quoted in Fijian dollars.
Group A: The basic model digital phone.
This model is ideal for most users. Suitable for travellers and business people, they are user friendly and available at an economical price. They also have in-built features such as vibrating alerts and calculators for those who wish to have a phone that does more than just make phone calls. The handset we currently stock within this range is the Nokia 3315.
Group S: SIM card only
Easy solution for those who intend to bring their own GSM 900 handset to Fiji.
Call Charges
Calls within Fiji are charged at $0.52 per minute mobile to mobile and $0.95 per minute mobile to landline. Calls are charged in 1-minute increments. Free incoming calls whilst in Fiji. SMS (text messages) charged at $0.55 per message. International call charges are available upon request.
ALL INCOMING CALLS INTO THE COUNTRY IS FREE
All our handsets are supplied with the following as a standard package:
1. Digital handset, with battery, Sim card and A/C charger
2. IDD, Voicemail and SMS access

- Insurance is optional and covers against theft of the phone, but not loss or theft through negligence, or theft from unattended motor vehicle.
- Excess on handset Insurance: Group A F$125.00
- Voice mail deposits and retrievals will be charged at the above call rates.
- All billing is directly debited from your credit card.
- Pre-authorisation is taken for every handset or SIM card rental for validation.
- Pre-booking facility is available.
