FASTFONE FAMILYFONE GROUP AGREEMENT
Terms & Conditions
1. Service
Vodafone Fiji Ltd (hereinafter referred to as “ Vodafone”) is a network provider of digital mobile telecommunication service in the form of post pay and prepaid (sold as Fastfone) service. This agreement relates only to the provision of Fastfone service.
2. Formation of Group
Familyfone Group may be formed by a total of five Fastfone holders who agree individually and jointly to form a group that will allow the group members to call each other at a different rate prescribed by Vodafone.
3. Authenticity of the Fastfone owners
For the purpose of eliminating any ownership claim from any other person, Vodafone will hold the application for 3 (three) working days and if during this period any objection or query is raised Vodafone will inform the applicant. In the absence of any queries, complaints or objections from any other person relating to the relevant Fastfone number, Vodafone will, without prejudice, form the Familyfone Group of the respective numbers.
4. Commencements and Termination
This agreement shall commence on the date of acceptance by Vodafone and shall continue thereafter. Vodafone or the customer may terminate agreement at any time by giving the other party not less than (30) days of written notice of termination.
5. Withdrawal and Rejoining
Customers who intend to withdraw or have withdrawn from the Familyfone Group are responsible to inform the other members of their Group of their intention. Customers wishing to rejoin the same or a different Group or customers wishing to join an already existing group shall be required to pay a fee of $20.00 VIP (twenty dollars) and obtain the written consent of the existing members through the completion of the Familyfone Group Formation Application Form.
6. Customer postal address and contact
Customers must inform Vodafone of any change in their postal address or contact phone number other than the Fastfone number within 24 hours of any such change.
7. Conditions of entry or re-entry to the Group
Customers shall recharge their Fastfones not more than 24 hours before lodging their completed and signed application form to the Vodafone representative. This applies to new applicants, for rejoining or those wishing to join existing groups.
8. Change of ownership
It shall be the responsibility of the customer to notify the other members of his/her group if he/she sells or transfers ownership of the Fastfone to another person. It is also the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the new Fastfone owner is accepted by the rest of the Group.
9. Proper Law
Vodafone and the Group members submit themselves to the exclusive jurisdiction of the law and Courts of the Fiji Islands.
10. Notices
Any notice given under this Agreement must be in writing addressed to the intended recipient at the address specified by the recipient.
11.Sever ability
In the event a clause in this Agreement becomes invalid, only that clause will be severed from this Agreement without affecting the validity of other clauses of this Agreement.
12.Authorisation for Minors
Parents/guardians to sign for persons under 21 years. Applicants who are below the legal age of 21 (minors) shall have to obtain their parents/guardians approval by way of signature on the Familyfone Group Application Form to be a Familyfone Group member.
13. False Declarations
Customers found to be making false statements on the Familyfone Group Application Form will have their application revoked and this will also have implications on any such future applications.
14. Familyfone Tariffs
Charges are inclusive of VAT.
All tariffs are subject to change at the discretion of Vodafone Fiji Ltd.
