Vodafone's TXT Rush Winners Share in More Than $92,000 Worth of Prizes

Vodafone customer, Sunil Kumar of Nadi today (3/2/10) won a return air ticket to Hong Kong flying Air Pacific and $1000 cash, one of the first five winners of Vodafone’s TXT Rush Promotion.  
 
Mr Kumar, who with his brother sells handicraft, sent 16 txts to 362 and could not believe his good fortune when he was told of his win at Vodafone’s Nadi shop today.   
 
“I am very happy, God has blessed me,” an elated Mr. Kumar said.
 
The TXT Rush Promotion was launched last week and is open to all Vodafone postpay and prepay customers.    
 
For five weeks customers have the chance to win one of five weekly prizes of a Return trip to Hong Kong, a Sony Bravia LCD Flat-Screen TV, a Nokia N95 3G handset, a Flashnet and a Nokia 3120 handset by txting the word “Rush” to 362.  Each txt costs 99 cents and prepay customers can utilise their free money to participate.
 
In addition every weekly winner also wins a cash prize based on his/her VodaSTAR rating.  Prepay winners collect between $500 and $2, 500 while Postpay winners get $2, 500.  Each week the prize pool is worth more than $18, 500.
 
The other week one winners are Brandon Sloan (Sony Bravia LCD TV plus $1500); Kenneth (Nokia N95 plus $1000); Rahima Bibi (Flashnet plus $1500) and Jonathan Lee (Nokia 3120 plus $1000).
 
The next draw will take place on February 8th and the promotion ends on February 26th.
