Vodafone Holds Sales and Service Excellence Awards

Fiji’s leading mobile company held its inaugural sales and service excellence awards night at the newly opened Novotel Lami Convention Centre to honor and recognize its many business partners. “The sales and service excellence awards is designed to recognize and honour the Vodafone dealers, recharge distributors and strategic business partners throughout the country for their outstanding and ongoing contributions towards making Vodafone Fiji’s number one mobile network in Fiji”, stated Ms Avanthi Senaratne, the Chief Marketing Officer of Vodafone Fiji.

The awards night had all the elements of a “Mini Oscar” type celebration, albeit the Fijian way.  The night was filled with glitz and glamour with a special theme concept matched superbly with the exquisite decorations and lighting. Everyone present had a great night as drinks and food flowed freely interrupted only by some fine cultural and contemporary dance performances by the Rako Dance Group of the Fiji Arts Council and other entertainers.
 
One of the attendees, Mr Kevin Fong of Valuefones Limited said, “it feels great to be treated and recognized in such style by the leading mobile network in Fiji. Many companies do not value the role that their dealers and business partners play in delivering their products and services. Vodafone has always been supportive and appreciative of small businesses such as ours that form part of its vast distribution network. As dealers and business partners, we feel proud to be associated with a brand that values our partnership and recognize our contributions”.
 
In his opening remark, the Managing Director of Vodafone Fiji, Mr Aslam Khan said, “Our business partners are the most important link between Vodafone and our subscribers. You are the interface between Vodafone and its customers. Your level of service delivery to customers is a reflection of Vodafone. We are proud of you all who deliver such exceptional service to our customers and fly the Vodafone flag in every part of Fiji. We value our partnership and recognize your contribution in this mutually benefiting relationship”, said Mr Khan
 
“One year into competition, Vodafone Fiji’s continues lead the mobile market and is very well positioned to continue to lead the mobile communications market in the future.  We have excellent support from partners and immense customer loyalties who continue to enjoy leading edge mobile technology as we continuously upgrade our basket of offerings”, said Mr Khan. 
 
 
The convention recognized more than 55 businesses throughout the country with awards for delivering outstanding services to Vodafone customers.  The five main awards in the inaugural Vodafone Sales Convention were won as follows: Best Media Partner; Communications Fiji Limited; Newman Limited operated by CJ Patel who distribute the epay recharge vouchers; Best Prepay Dealer went to Courts Homecentres; Best Postpay Dealer went to Fijilive; Best Tier One Operator award was scooped by Foneology and the best content provider award went to Webmasters.
