We wish to advise the general public that we have come across a number of cases where customers have been faced with invalid announcements when trying to activate their Vodafone prepay recharge cards.
Being alerted of this situation we have begun investigations and once completed the report will be handed over to the Fiji Police for necessary action. We would like to assure the general public that we are taking all possible actions to eliminate such instances from occurring in the future.
As of date we have had 8 reported cases and we suspect the illegal tampering our prepay cards. We would like to advise any of you faced with this situation to come and see us or call 124 for further assistance.
