Vodafone Fiji today announced the release of Nokia Lumia range of handsets with Windows Phone 8 operating system. Nokia has released a range of handsets to satisfy every segment and within the smartphone category, the Lumia range is sure to impress. The Nokia Lumia 920 is the flagship Windows Phone 8 smartphone, including the latest advances in Nokia PureView imaging innovation.
Using advanced floating lens technology, the camera in the Nokia Lumia 920 is able to take in five times more light than competing smartphones without using flash, making it possible to capture clear, bright pictures,indoor video and at night. It also compensates for hand movement while the photo is being taken.

Vodafone Reduces E-Ticketing Minimum Top Up to $2.00

Vodafone has considered favourably the request by Consumer Council to reduce the minimum e-ticketing card top up amount from $5.00 to $2.00. In fact Vodafone had also been getting feedback from its registration teams deployed around the country on the consumers’ feedback on the minimum top up amount. Accordingly, Vodafone had been working with its distributors and top up agents if an effort to reduce the minimum top up amount to around $3.00.

E-Ticketing Registration Restarts in Central Eastern Division

Foneology and LTA have confirmed that e-ticketing registration has started once again in the Central/ Eastern Division from today. LTA media relations officer Iliesa Sokia confirmed that Vodafone has restarted e-ticketing registration in the Suva, Nausori/Tailevu and Navua corridor from today and will extend this to Lami and Navua in the next few days.
