VODAFONE CUSTOMERS MUST REGISTER FLASHNET SIM CARDS

Vodafone is urging users of Pre-paid Flashnet, its Mobile Broadband Internet service, to register their Data SIM cards when registering their mobile phone SIM cards. This follows questions from Flashnet users about whether SIM cards used in the modems of their devices were included under the Phone Decree.

In accordance to The Compulsory Registration of Customers for Telephone Services Decree 2010, which requires all current users of telecommunication services to be registered with their details with their respective telephone service provider within a month from the commencement of the decree, Vodafone requests all its customers to comply with this Decree and get registered promptly at any of Vodafone's Retails Outlets via a Registration Form provided at the time of registration with the following information and relevant documents for verification.

Fiji FA receive more from Vodafone

Fiji FA, today received $54,718.19 from their network provider, Vodafone at the completion of a very successful text promotion. During the promotion, held early this year between the kick off of the National League and the Vodafone FACT tournament, Vodafone provided their customers with attractive prizes including tickets to the games, free airtime and cash.

VODAFONE Clarifies Customer Registration

Vodafone Fiji clarified its customer registration process in light of recent outbursts in the media by some individuals and consumer organisations. We launched our M-PAiSA service more than a month ago and so had designed the registration forms, which included information required by the Reserve Bank under its Know Your Customer (KYC) requirements well in advance of the Phone Decree, Vodafone's Chief Operating Officer, Pradeep Lal, said.
