PXT Troubleshooting
There are many different situations why you may have issues with PXT messaging or even a PXT you have received.
Handsets
There are some different PXT handsets available and not all phones will support the same type of pictures or sounds as others.
Anytime you receive a PXT and after you download it there is a red cross in the picture it means that what was sent to you is not supported by your phone. You will need to delete the PXT message
Error Message when sending
If the phone displays "Subscribe to GPRS" it is likely that you have not entered the correct settings or have not activated the correct Account.
First thing is to check that you have entered the correct Access Point in the settings - live.vodafone.com.fj
If this is correct also check that the WAP or Data account is the active account by selecting Options > Activate/Select
Unable to download a PXT
If you are unable to download a PXT it is likely that what has been sent is corrupted.
Turn the phone off and on and re-attempt to download the PXT message.
You get a TXT advising "Message cannot be displayed here"
This is because your phone is not PXT capable or is not activated for PXT messaging. This can also happen if you switched from a PXT capable phone to a non-PXT capable phone.
Please contact Customer Care to have MMS capabilities removed so that you receive a TXT advising to view the PXT on PXT World.
If you get a new PXT phone then just send a PXT to any email address or Vodafone Fiji/Australian mobile number which will activate receiving PXT's again.
You have a PXT phone however you receive TXT advising you to go to PXT World to view your PXT
This occurs because Vodafone does not know that you have a PXT phone.
All that you'll need to do is send a PXT from the phone to be able to receive further PXT messages.
You get only half an envelope in your MMS inbox and cant download the PXT?
This is caused because of incompatibility issues between handsets or the download of the PXT was stopped during downloading.
Turn the phone off and on and reattempt the download.
