How does it Work?
a) A-Party or the initiator makes a call to the first person, then puts him/her on hold using the ‘Hold Call” option on the handset.
b) Initiator then calls the second person, when they are both on line, the initiator will press the “Link” or “Join” option on the handset to connect them together.
c) They are now in Conference. Initiator then puts them on hold, & calls the third person and links him/her using the “Link” or “Join” option on the handset.
d) Initiator can call up to 4 numbers and include them in the Conference call one by one using “Link” or “Join” option on the handset. This feature allows a maximum of 5 callers within the Conference call.
Scenario 1:
e) Once the maximum of 5 callers are in the Conference call, callers other than the initiator can call and add up to 4 more callers in the Conference. Refer to diagram below for illustration.
Scenario 2:
f) To end a call, simply hang up (terminate the call). If the person who starts the Teleconference (initiator) hangs up, everyone’s call ends.
g) No one can force themselves into an already setup Conference call.
